Small Accomplishment

This is what I have been stitching on lately. It is Drawn Thread's Sampler of Stitches. I chose this pattern to work on for our Thursday night stitch group. Obviously, I work on it more often than just one Thursday a month. I got tired of it looming overhead so decided to finish the charts that I had. It will be a bellpull when finished. The next pattern should come out in May.

I have been in a bit of a depression lately. The bottom line is that I am super tired. I am physically, emotionally, and mentally tired. I am feeling that I never get anything accomplished because there isn't enough hours in the day. I have also been feeling smothered by my mom. I work with my mom 6 days a week and on Sundays she usually wants to go shopping or something so, I end up being with her all day every day. For heaven's sake, I am 38 years old! I need some me time. Every time I come up with a trip to go on, if it is store related at all, she finagles a way to go with me. The only time I can go by myself is when someone else asks me to go with them somewhere. I am tired of always doing things with my mom or by myself. I guess I am just feeling sorry for myself and needed a pity party. Sorry for that little rant.

Small accomplishment?? This piece is gorgeous. Sorry you're feeling down, I don't think I could be around someone every single day, I would feel suffocated. Your blog is always a good place to rant :)

I love your Drawn Thread piece! I have a few of their patterns but haven't attempted any of them yet. One day though!

((hugs)) on the depression and mom issues - I don't have a very good relationship with my mom, and I'm forever trying not to pi$$ her off somehow, so I know how difficult those waters can be. Hope you get some "me" time soon and are feeling better.

I hope Friday night's dinner and stitching helped relieve some of that stress and depression! We had a really good time and we will be sure to do it more often!
